The Medallion

Michael D
Michael D is a 13 year old boy that goes to Robinson Secondary School. His  greatest focus right now is baseball. He plays for the Burke Bulldogs and his positions are outfield, catcher, and third base. Michael is trying to shape his future in order to fulfil his dream of playing for the Robinson baseball team. Michael’s greatest inspiration in baseball is his dad. His dad has trained him in their backyard for about four years. Michael is volunteering to help the Robinson varsity baseball team with equipment and also volunteering for practices. When he was four years old he played his first ever baseball game. When it was his turn to bat, he hit the ball past the second baseman and he got a double. He said that was a great moment to be in and he was excited to play more baseball. He is not  thinking about his future in baseball right now, he says when he gets older and better then he will start thinking about it.
